ESMALTES Y ENGOBES

Engobes are a combination of frits and raw materials that act as an interface between the tile body and the glaze. They therefore contribute to a better coupling between these two components and endow them with the desired technical characteristics, such as curvature, opacity, etc.
Glazes are also a combination of frits and raw materials, although in this case their role is to provide the desired aesthetic characteristics, that allow for a countless number of different finishes.
